MOSCOW — External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, on August 24 for high-level bilateral talks in Moscow.
The meeting centered on strengthening bilateral economic ties within the framework of the Russian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation. Both leaders explored new avenues to expand direct business contacts and facilitate closer cooperation between Indian and Russian enterprises.
Key discussions also focused on boosting industrial partnership and enhancing strategic joint efforts across the energy and nuclear sectors.
