Lucknow: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, met Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and expressed strong support for the state’s ambitious economic growth roadmap.
Following the meeting, Adani took to the social media platform X to praise the Chief Minister’s vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a major economic powerhouse. He highlighted the state government’s plan to build a USD 1 trillion economy by 2030 and expand it further to USD 6 trillion by 2047.
“Some visions reshape nations. Hearing Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lay out the roadmap for Viksit Uttar Pradesh was an unforgettable moment,” Adani wrote, calling the targets a “declaration of what UP is capable of becoming.”
He further stated that the Adani Group is committed to contributing to the state’s transformation through investments in key sectors, including power, defence, airports, logistics, industrial parks, and data centres.
Earlier in the day, Adani, accompanied by his wife Priti Adani, son Karan Adani, and daughter-in-law Paridhi Adani, visited Ram Temple in Ayodhya, where the family offered prayers on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
