India and Counterpart Nation Discuss Defence Cooperation, Exchange Military Plan for 2026–2027

New Delhi: A high-level bilateral meeting was held in India between Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh and his counterpart, focusing on strengthening strategic ties and expanding defence cooperation. The discussions covered a broad spectrum of regional and global issues, with particular attention given to the evolving situation in the Middle East.

Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening industrial collaboration in the defence sector, highlighting shared interests and the potential for mutually beneficial partnerships. The dialogue underscored a commitment to enhancing cooperation through joint initiatives and long-term planning.

As a key outcome of the meeting, the two leaders exchanged the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026–2027. The agreement outlines future commitments and aims to reinforce coordination and collaboration between the armed forces of both nations.
