Violence Continues in Gaza: Two Palestinians Killed, Eight Injured in Last 24 Hours

Despite the ceasefire, violence continues across the Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, two Palestinians were killed and eight others were injured in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Thursday, the ministry said that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, a total of 1,007 Palestinians have been killed, 3,165 have been injured, and 784 bodies have been recovered from previously inaccessible areas.

The ministry added that the overall death toll from Israel’s war, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,018, while the number of injured people has reached 173,273.

According to the ministry, many victims remain trapped under the rubble or in areas that rescue teams cannot access. Ambulance crews and civil defense workers continue to face major challenges in carrying out rescue operations.

Meanwhile, reports of ceasefire violations continued on Thursday morning in several parts of Gaza. Local sources said Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza while carrying out a large-scale home demolition operation.

In central Gaza, Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the coast of Al-Zawayda.

The report stated that Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes, artillery shelling near areas sheltering displaced civilians, demolition operations inside the so-called “Yellow Line,” and ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
