Three Palestinians, including a child, were injured on Tuesday evening during an ongoing Israeli assault on Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem.
According to local sources, the child was shot in the shoulder by Israeli forces deployed around the camp. The injury was described as minor.
Another Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire during confrontations near the Qalandiya Vocational Training Institute. Israeli forces continued to maintain a heavy presence around the camp and fire in the area as tensions and clashes continued.
Amid the ongoing operation, Israeli forces also distributed demolition notices along Airport Road in Qalandiya refugee camp.
The latest injuries come as Israeli forces continue their operation in Qalandiya and surrounding areas. As part of the assault, the UNRWA-run Qalandiya Vocational Training Institute was evacuated and seized during an operation led by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The continued Israeli military presence, confrontations and demolition notices have kept tensions high across the refugee camp and its surrounding areas.
