New Delhi, August 2025 – Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago, COP30 President, visited India for the second time in less than six months, further strengthening dialogue on the global climate agenda.
In New Delhi, he led the Asian Dialogue of the Global Ethical Stocktake (GES), representing Brazil’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva, together with COP30 CEO Dr. Ana Toni. The GES highlighted ethical, cultural, and intergenerational perspectives, with the aim of turning climate commitments into concrete and fair actions while keeping the 1.5°C goal within reach.
India was recognized as a key partner in this journey. The event also featured the voices of Indian civil society and representatives from across the Asian region, bringing forward diverse perspectives on climate action.
