“Indo-French ties grow stronger with Senator Cazebonne’s Educational and Cultural Outreach”

Senator Samantha Cazebonne’s recent visit to India has greater confirmed the progressing and deepening strength of Indo-French cooperation today in culture and education. Her visit started at Lycée Français International de Delhi (LFID) where they met with students and teachers just prior to the French Embassy graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025.

The Senator also established the status of LFID’s International Baccalaureate programme, which takes Indian and international students on the same programme.

The Senator was able to meet with Fabien Chareix, Attaché for Scientific and Academic Cooperation at the French Institute in India (IFI), to discuss collaborative academic initiatives including President Emmanuel Macron’s ambition to have 30,000 Indian students in France by 2030.

The senator was also informed of Campus France’s initiatives to assist Indian students for higher education in France. At the Alliance Française de Delhi, she participated in discussions with various actors on how to promote the French language and culture.

Going forward to discuss her activities in Mumbai, she visited the Lycée Français International de Mumbai (LFIM) and ended her visit at the newly opened Churchgate Centre of Alliance Française de Bombay, a vibrant centre of artistic and cultural discussions.
