On September 3, Ambassador Benedikt Höskuldsson addressed more than 1,200 students at the Indian Model United Nations, a three-day forum organized by the Ryan International Group of Institutions.
In his keynote address, Ambassador Höskuldsson emphasized the concept of “diplomacy with impact”—moving beyond treaties and memoranda to create tangible improvements in people’s lives. He highlighted the vital role of sustainable development as the foundation of the economic and diplomatic partnership between India and Iceland.
“Remember that diplomacy isn’t just the work of ambassadors and foreign ministers. Every engineer who designs sustainable technology, every entrepreneur who builds inclusive businesses, every activist who mobilizes communities for change, you are all diplomats in the truest sense, building bridges between what is and what must be,” said the Ambassador.
