Belgian Embassy Hosts Special Screening of Julie Keeps Quiet for #16DaysOfActivism

As part of the global #16DaysOfActivism campaign, the Embassy of Belgium organised a special screening of Julie Keeps Quiet, a critically acclaimed film by Belgian director Leonardo van Dijl. The event highlighted the urgent global issue of gender-based violence, which affects one in three women worldwide, and reaffirmed Belgium’s commitment to combating such abuse through its foreign policy.

The film, which explores themes of abuse, manipulation and the strength required to speak out, resonated strongly with attendees. Julie Keeps Quiet also featured prominently at the EU Film Festival in Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, where it received enthusiastic responses from audiences across all three cities.

The Embassy extended its appreciation to Lufthansa, Barco, and Flanders Investment and Trade, New Delhi, whose support made the evening possible.
