Roots Zombie Electrifies Hornbill Music Festival Audience with High‑Energy Set

Kohima, Nagaland: French electronic reggae‑dub artist Roots Zombie delivered a high‑energy and memorable performance at the Toyota Hornbill Music Festival 2025, captivating a packed audience with his distinctive blend of dub, electronic and reggae‑infused sounds. The performance took place at the Naga Heritage Village in Kisama, where festival‑goers from across India and abroad had gathered to experience a diverse lineup of international and Indian acts.

Roots Zombie’s set stood out among the global performers featured at this year’s festival, which included artists and ensembles from Scotland, Japan, France, Ireland, South Korea, Israel, Nepal and Russia, among others.

The French artist’s dynamic performance drew enthusiastic applause, with deep basslines and rhythmic dub grooves resonating through the venue and energizing the audience well into the evening. Roots Zombie’s presence contributed to the festival’s reputation as a vibrant celebration of both global music culture and Nagaland’s rich artistic traditions.
