New Delhi/Muscat:
India and the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), marking a significant milestone in bilateral economic relations and opening a new chapter in their strategic partnership.

The agreement is expected to enhance trade flows between the two countries, boost mutual investment, and support economic diversification across key sectors. CEPA aims to stimulate economic growth by creating new business opportunities, strengthening supply chains, and improving market access for enterprises in both nations.
Officials said the partnership will also have a strong people-centric focus, with provisions designed to generate employment, expand economic opportunities, and foster closer cooperation across major economic sectors.

The Inclusive Economic Partnership Agreement reflects the shared commitment of India and Oman to deepen economic engagement and promote sustainable growth for the benefit of both economies and their people.
