New Delhi/Dhaka — The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi has successfully completed a development aid project for Don Bosco College in Birisiri, Bangladesh, just in time for Christmas. The initiative was led by Polish missionary priest Father Paweł Kociołek and aimed at strengthening the institution’s educational infrastructure.

The project, funded under Poland’s development aid programme, provided IT equipment worth nearly INR 18 lakh. The support included personal computers, laptops, printers, classroom smart boards, and other digital tools designed to enhance the learning environment and help underprivileged students acquire essential digital skills.

To mark the completion of the project, Head of Mission Piotr A. Świtalski visited Bangladesh, where he met Father Kociołek in Dhaka. Their discussions focused on the activities of Don Bosco College, the positive impact of the Polish Aid project on the local community, and opportunities for future cooperation.
The initiative reflects Poland’s continued commitment to education as a key driver of opportunity and empowerment for young people in developing communities.
