West Bank : Violence erupted in the occupied West Bank on Thursday when a group of Jewish extremist settlers attacked Palestinian youths in the town of Qusra, located south of Nablus. Several Palestinian youths were injured in the attack.
According to eyewitnesses, a group of Jewish settlers reached the southwestern part of the town and began pelting stones at local Palestinian youths present there. The sudden attack spread tension throughout the area.
Some time after the incident, Israeli soldiers arrived at the scene. According to eyewitnesses, instead of intervening, the soldiers fired at the Palestinian youths. Local sources reported that several Palestinian youths sustained injuries and scratches on their bodies in the attack by the Jewish settlers.
