Panic in Al-Khalil after IOF raid: One Palestinian abducted, several civilians sickened by tear gas

Al-Khalil: According to media reports, continuous raids carried out by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Friday evening spread fear across several areas of the Al-Khalil district. During these operations, one Palestinian civilian was abducted, while dozens of people were affected by tear gas exposure.

Media activist Mohammed Awad reported that during an IOF raid in the town of Beit Ummar, located north of Al-Khalil, large amounts of tear gas were used, causing breathing difficulties for many civilians. During the same raid, IOF forces also stormed several Palestinian homes in the southern area of Beit Ummar, Khirbet al-Qat, and carried out widespread vandalism.

Similarly, in the town of Beit Ula, several civilians suffered from suffocation and distress after Israeli forces fired tear gas. Another incident was reported from the town of Dura in southern Al-Khalil, where Israeli forces raided a bakery in the village of Khursa, assaulted its owner, and caused extensive damage inside the shop.

In addition, an olive oil press was vandalized in the Ayoun Abu Saif area of Dura, and its owner, Ibrahim Abu Sharar, was abducted by Israeli forces from his home. At the same time, a raid was also carried out on the home of the Barqan family in the southern part of Al-Khalil city, where those present were mistreated. These incidents have once again raised serious questions about the safety and security of ordinary Palestinian civilians in Al-Khalil and the surrounding areas.
