Kolkata, India — Representatives of Kazakhstan’s film industry took part in a prestigious international children’s film festival held in Kolkata, where Kazakh animation was warmly received by audiences and professionals alike.
Two animated films produced by Tasqyn Studio — “Seriktes” and “Aldar” — were showcased during the festival, drawing significant attention from Indian viewers. The films were praised for their storytelling, visual style, and cultural depth, highlighting the growing quality and international potential of Kazakhstan’s animation sector.

Tasqyn Studio was represented at the festival by Madina Sutbayeva, Director and producer of the studio, along with Aigerim Abdramanova, producer of the studio’s projects. During the event, they presented the films, engaged with festival participants, and took part in discussions aimed at strengthening international cooperation in children’s cinema and animation.
