The IEEE JMI Student Branch inaugurated the 4th HACK JMI 2026 on 6th February 2026, marking the beginning of another exciting journey of innovation, problem-solving, and collaborative learning.
The HACK JMI event was declared open by The Registrar Prof. Md. Mehtab Alam Rizvi, who was the Chief Guest of the event.

In his speech Prof. Rizvi congratulated the student team of IEEE JMI and faculty advisor for organising this event 4th time. Prof. Rizvi said such events and call for competition will give a platform to young minds for providing innovative solutions of the problems linked with our daily life . He encouraged students to come out with innovative solutions to make JMI campus more automated like cyber threats, automation in energy and campus security.
Welcoming the Chief Guest and other faculty members and students, Prof. Ahteshamul Haque, Branch counsellor of IEEE JMI and offg Controller of Examinations appreciated the leadership role of Vice chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and Registràr Prof. Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi for providing conducive academic environment in the campus to conduct such events. Prof. Haque informed that the competition is open for all in hardware and software form both. He appreciated the hardwork of IEEE JMI student team.

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sharif, Dean, Faculty of Engineering was the guest of Honour and he also emphasized the need of such events.
Prof. Shabana Mehfuz, CPIO Jamia Millia Islamia and Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering delivered her best wishes with few important coding tips to the students.
Prof. Shakeb A Khan, Provost Boys Hostel JMI said that beyond classroom and application oriented events are very important for the growth of students.
Prof. Samina Bano, Prof. Incharge RCA and Head , Department of Psychology appreciated the organizers of this event.
The event was graced with presence of Prof. Amina Hussain, CPIO (Examinations) JMI and Assistant Professor, Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women; Dr. Musheer Ahmed, Hony Assistant Controller of Examinations and Associate Professor, Department of Computer Engineering.
Their insights and support highlighted the importance of innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student-driven technological initiatives.
HACK JMI continues to evolve as a dynamic platform that brings together creative minds to build impactful solutions — going beyond coding to promote design thinking, teamwork, and real-world problem solving.
