New Delhi: The Embassy of Egypt in New Delhi celebrated the winners of the “Egypt Through the Eyes of Our Children and Children of the World” competitions at a special ceremony aimed at strengthening cultural ties between Egypt and India.

The initiative was organized in coordination with the Egyptian Cultural Office in New Delhi as part of ongoing efforts to enhance people-to-people engagement—one of the key objectives of the Strategic Partnership Agreement signed between the two countries in 2023.
Targeted at Indian youth, the creative competitions included a calligraphy contest, a drawing contest, and a promotional video production contest, all centered around the theme “Egypt Through the Eyes of Our Children and Children of the World.” Students from several prominent Indian schools and universities participated enthusiastically, showcasing their artistic interpretations of Egypt’s rich culture and heritage.
The event reflects continued efforts by the Embassy and the Cultural Office to deepen cultural exchange between the two friendly nations, inspired by the long-standing historical and civilizational ties between Egypt and India.

H.E. Ambassador Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to New Delhi, along with Dr. Ayat Saad, Head of the Cultural Office, personally received the 14 winners during an honoring ceremony held at the Embassy premises. The winners were presented with appreciation awards and certificates in recognition of their creativity, dedication, and outstanding participation.
