Jamia Middle School celebrated its Annual Function 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 13th February, 2026 at MP Hall, Jamia Sr. Sec. School. The much-awaited event showcased the remarkable talents, achievements, and creativity of students leaving the audience mesmerized. The program commenced with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran along with translation, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. This was followed by the soulful rendition of the Jamia Tarana.
The esteemed Registrar of Jamia Millia Islamia, Prof. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, graced the occasion as the Patron of the event along with the Chief Guest, Mr. Faisal Khan, IPS, Additional Superintendent of Police, Sirsa. Eminent personalities from University as guest of Honour Prof. Ehteshamul Haque, Controller of Examinations, Prof. Mohammad Asad Malik, Chief Proctor, Prof. Neelofar Afzal, Dean, Students Welfare, Prof. Iqtedar Mohd Khan, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Languages, Ar Mohd Firoz Anwer, Incharge Building & Construction Department, Prof Rajan Patel, Director CIF, Deputy Director of Games & Sports Prof. Mohd Abid and Heads of the Departments. Heads of all Jamia Schools attended the program. The Headmistress warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and expressed the gratitude.

The Headmistress presented the annual report and highlighted the school’s outstanding achievements in academics, sports, cultural activities, and co-curricular activities over the past year. The report proudly mentioned excellent Olympiad results, victories in inter-school competitions, and various initiatives aimed at holistic student development. A documentary showcasing the school’s achievements was presented, highlighting academic excellence, co-curricular accomplishments and various milestones achieved during the session. Ms Jahan expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Patron Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and Patron respected Registrar Prof. Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi for the kind support and continuous encouragement extended the school. Their visionary leadership & commitment to academic excellence and student development and generous assistance have greatly contributed to the growth and success.
The cultural program reflected the immense talent and confidence of the students. The young learners of Classes I and II performed an energetic English action song, “I Am So Happy,” followed by a lively Hindi song “Bam-Bam Bole” by students of Classes III and IV. Students of Classes V and VI presented the song “Beete Kal,” while melodious ghazals and a group song further enriched the cultural segment. A powerful skit and dance performance on Women Empowerment by students of Classes VII and VIII received loud applause from the audience for its meaningful message and confident presentation. The final program inspirational song “Hum Honge Kaamyab” in a mixed Hindi and English version, filling the hall with hope and unity. The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony recognized students for their academic excellence, and co-curricular accomplishments such as One Day School activities, Olympiad achievements, and the Science Exhibition etc. The Patron and the Chief Guest and other distinguished guests awarded medals, trophies and certificates to deserving students and congratulated them on their hard work and determination.

The Patron of the event Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, Registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia in his address, congratulated and appreciated the school Headmistress Ms Nusrat Jahan and teachers, non teaching staff for their dedication to organize its annual function and for nurturing young minds. He emphasized the importance of value-based education, discipline, and perseverance in achieving success. He appreciated the achievement of the students in Olympiad and other Co-Curricular activities & congratulated them and also shared his experiences of hostel life in shaping up the career. The Chief Guest, Mr. Faisal Khan, IPS, motivated the students to strive for excellence, discipline, and integrity in all aspects of life.
The chief guest appreciated the achievement of the students and applauds the school for organizing a wonderful annual function. All dignitaries and officials of University appreciated the talent of students and progress of the school.
The presence of parents added warmth and encouragement to the celebration. They appreciated the efforts of the school and University in providing a platform for students to explore and exhibit their talents. The audience applauded enthusiastically after every performance, boosting the confidence of the young performers.

The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the CCA Coordinator, Ms. Naghma Abbasi expressing gratitude to the Chief Patron, Patron, Chief Guest, dignitaries, Headmistress, staff members teaching and non teaching, parents, and students for making the event a grand success. The function ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
