Lithuania Celebrates National Day in New Delhi, Strengthens Bilateral Ties with India

Lithuania celebrated its National Day in New Delhi with a high-level gathering that underscored the growing partnership between Lithuania and India.

The event was attended by Lithuania’s Minister of Economy and Innovation, Edvinas Grikšas, and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taurimas Valys, who were on an official visit to India to participate in the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.

Smt. Sripriya Ranganathan, Secretary (CPV & OIA) at the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, reflecting the importance India attaches to its relationship with Lithuania.

Ambassador Diana Mickeviciene welcomed the gathering and delivered a visual presentation highlighting the extensive bilateral cooperation achieved during 2025–26, marked as the Year of People-to-People Connections between Lithuania and India.

The celebration reaffirmed the shared commitment of both nations to deepen collaboration across economic, diplomatic, technological, and cultural domains.
