ALIGARH, March 5: Students of Senior Secondary School (Girls), Aligarh Muslim University, performed exceptionally well in an inter-school competition organised by Mother Touch Senior Secondary School, Talanagri, Aligarh, aimed at promoting scientific awareness and encouraging scientific thinking among students.
Nausheen Fatima of Class XI-D secured first prize in Essay Writing, while Maryam Khan of Class XI-E won second position in debate. Amra Mohtashim of Class XI-E achieved third position in Essay Writing and also secured a prize in the Science Model competition.
The achievement brought laurels to the school. The students were guided by Ms. Saba Qamar and Ms. Khusnood Parween under the constant encouragement of the Principal, Mrs. Naghma Irfan.
