An assassination plot targeting a resistance leader in central Gaza was foiled in time by security agencies. According to the official website of Al-Majd Security, the operation was carried out as part of a “high-level intelligence operation,” in which precise action was taken based on intelligence inputs.

According to media reports, security forces have arrested two suspects involved in the plot. During the search, silencer-equipped weapons, modern surveillance equipment, and disguise materials were recovered from their possession, indicating the seriousness of their plan.

During interrogation, both accused confessed that they were linked to a group led by Shawqi Abu Nasira. They also admitted that they had received training from Israeli intelligence officers, including one identified as “Captain Abu Omar.”

According to the website, further revelations related to this case and detailed information about the suspects’ confessions will be made public in the coming period.
