Two Palestinians Shot Near Separation Wall in al-Ram Amid Ongoing Tensions

Occupied Jerusalem: A Palestinian young man was injured on Sunday evening after Israeli Occupation Forces opened fire near the separation wall in the town of al-Ram, north of Jerusalem.

According to medical responders, the victim was struck in the leg by live ammunition. He was given first aid at the scene before being transferred to a hospital for further treatment.

The incident was the second of its kind in the area on the same day. Earlier at dawn, another Palestinian worker was shot in the thigh while attempting to reach his workplace in the holy city.

Such incidents underscore the risks faced by Palestinians from the West Bank who attempt to enter Israel for work, often without permits due to movement restrictions.

Ongoing limitations on trade, mobility, and access to resources continue to constrain economic opportunities in the West Bank, leaving many Palestinians with little choice but to seek work under precarious conditions.
