Rising tensions in the West Bank: settler attacks, demolition orders, and bulldozers on the ground in Jenin.

Occupied Jerusalem: On Monday, there was an escalation in Israeli actions across various areas of the West Bank, further deepening tensions in the region. The incidents included an attack by settlers south of Nablus, demolition orders north of occupied Jerusalem, road closures, and the leveling of agricultural land in Jenin.

In the village of Jalud, located south of Nablus, a Palestinian was injured in an attack by settlers. According to local sources, a group of settlers attacked residents in the Al-Dhahr area, injuring one person, who was then taken to a hospital for treatment.

Occupied Jerusalem: In the northern parts of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces issued demolition notices for dozens of residential and commercial structures in Al-Ram, Kafr Aqab, and the Qalandiya refugee camp. The Jerusalem Governorate stated that the reason given for these notices was construction without permits.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued their raids in the Qalandiya refugee camp. Several homes were evacuated and turned into temporary military checkpoints. The house of the deceased Palestinian Samir Aslan was also vandalized and damaged during search operations. This action was reported to be part of ongoing overnight raids and arrest campaigns.

On Monday evening, Israeli forces closed the bridge leading to the village of Jaba by piling up mounds of dirt. This bridge was the only means of access to the village via Al-Ram. With its closure, local residents are now forced to use alternative routes on foot. Additionally, the Jaba gate located near the military checkpoint was also kept closed.

In the Jenin Governorate, Israeli bulldozers continued leveling agricultural land for the second consecutive day. This activity is taking place in the Khirbet Suruj area near the town of Al-Yamun. According to reports, the work is being carried out as part of constructing a new settlement road and preparing for a potential new outpost.

Amid all these developments, the large-scale ongoing actions in the northern areas of occupied Jerusalem and in Jenin have further complicated the situation, with challenges on the ground for Palestinian civilians continuing to increase.
