New Delhi, April 28 — The Alexander Kadakin School at the Russian Embassy in India hosted an English-language theatrical performance of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, staged by Russian students for invited guests from partner institutions Bluebells School International and Sancta Maria International.
The event held special significance as the classic novel marks its 150th anniversary this year. The performance highlighted themes of friendship and adventure, engaging the audience throughout.
Several attendees noted that they were previously unfamiliar with the literary work but expressed interest in reading it after watching the play.
The program concluded with a friendly interaction among participants, during which students received sweets and commemorative souvenirs, fostering a warm and cultural exchange between the schools.
