Years after training in London, renowned cardiac surgeon Dr Devi Shetty is bringing his healthcare journey full circle. The healthcare organisation he founded, Narayana Health, has acquired Practice Plus Group Hospitals, marking a major expansion into the United Kingdom’s healthcare sector.
The acquisition positions Narayana Health as a leading provider of elective services under the National Health Service (NHS), strengthening healthcare collaboration between India and the UK.
British High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron and British Deputy High Commissioner to Karnataka Chandru Iyer met Dr Shetty last week to discuss future opportunities arising from the partnership and the growing healthcare ties between the two countries.
