The Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi has announced that it will remain closed on May 14 in observance of Ascension Day, a Christian holiday celebrated 40 days after Easter to commemorate the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven.
The embassy stated that all regular consular and visa-related services will remain unavailable during the closure. Normal operations and public services are scheduled to resume on May 15. Travelers and applicants are advised to plan their visits and appointments accordingly.
