Professor Akhlaq Ahmad Ahan Strengthens India–Kazakhstan Academic Collaboration During Kazakhstan Visit

Astana: Professor Akhlaq Ahmad Ahan of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) held meetings with representatives of AlmaU and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University during his visit to Kazakhstan, further strengthening academic ties between India and Kazakhstan.

The discussions focused on expanding collaboration in historical research, particularly through joint studies of manuscripts and archival materials related to the history of Kazakhstan and the Great Steppe. Both sides also explored opportunities for academic exchanges, collaborative research projects, and broader institutional cooperation.

The meetings underscored the growing commitment of Indian and Kazakh academic institutions to promoting scholarly engagement and preserving shared historical heritage. The initiative is expected to deepen research partnerships while contributing to stronger educational and cultural relations between the two countries.
