A special attraction of the ceremony was the presentation of a video showcasing memorable moments and achievements of the children during the month-long camp. Parents appreciated the remarkable progress made by their children. Individual activity portfolios prepared during the camp were also distributed to the parents, enabling them to understand their children’s learning journey, developmental progress, and achievements.
The camp marked a significant milestone as it was the first Inclusive Summer Camp organized by the Child Guidance Centre, where Children with Special Needs (CWSN) participated alongside general students in a common learning environment. The initiative promoted inclusion, mutual respect, teamwork, empathy, and equal opportunities, allowing every child to learn, interact, and grow together irrespective of individual differences.

He further said, “If parents, teachers, and society work together with dedication and provide equal opportunities, Children with Special Needs can rise from the grassroots to the highest levels of achievement. These children do not need sympathy; they need opportunities, acceptance, and encouragement. When society opens its doors to inclusion, they spread their wings with confidence and contribute meaningfully to nation-building. A developed and progressive India can never leave any child behind.
