The Czech Republic has expanded its visa application services in India with the opening of two new VFS Global centres in Bhubaneswar and Lucknow. Starting August 1, 2026, applicants seeking short-term Czech visas and residing in or around these cities will be able to submit their applications at the newly established centres.
The move is aimed at making the visa application process more accessible and convenient for travelers by reducing the need to travel to distant visa application centres. Applicants will be required to book an appointment online before visiting the centres to submit their documents.
The expansion is expected to improve access to Czech visa services for residents across eastern and northern India, offering a smoother and more efficient application experience.
