Russian Embassy in India Participates in International Conference on Alleged Crimes in Kherson Region

Diplomats from the Russian Embassy in India participated in an international video conference on July 10 focusing on alleged crimes committed during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine’s Kherson region.

The conference, titled “Crimes of the Kiev Regime: Terror Against the Civilians of the Kherson Region,” was organized by the Delegation of the Russian Federation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Control, jointly with Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik.

According to the Russian side, the event brought together diplomats, representatives of international organizations, members of the academic and expert communities, media professionals, and participants from more than 80 countries, including India.

Key speakers included Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik, Kherson Region Governor Vladimir Saldo, Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova, Rybar think tank head Mikhail Zvinchuk, Italian journalist Andrea Lucidi of Visione TV, along with military analysts, experts, and journalists.

During the conference, speakers discussed allegations of attacks on civilians in the Kherson region and presented testimonies from individuals whom organizers described as witnesses to war crimes allegedly committed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukraine has consistently rejected accusations of deliberately targeting civilians and has accused Russian forces of committing widespread violations during the conflict.
