New Delhi: Timor-Leste has expressed its deepest condolences to Venezuela following the devastating 7.5-magnitude earthquake that reportedly claimed thousands of lives and left many more injured.
H.E. Ambassador Karlito Nunes visited the Embassy of Venezuela in New Delhi to sign the condolence book, paying tribute to the victims of the disaster and conveying solidarity with the Venezuelan people.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Timor-Leste, Ambassador Nunes extended heartfelt sympathies to the Government and people of Venezuela during this period of mourning. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured and affected by the earthquake.
The gesture reflects Timor-Leste’s support for Venezuela as it continues to cope with the aftermath of one of the country’s deadliest natural disasters.
