Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to India, H.E. Azamat Yeskarayev, visited Kolkata, West Bengal, as part of efforts to strengthen economic and regional cooperation between Kazakhstan and India.

During his visit, the Ambassador held meetings with the Governor of West Bengal, leading business representatives, and members of the Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade and investment ties and exploring new opportunities for cooperation at the regional level.
The visit also highlighted Kazakhstan’s growing investment potential and tourism opportunities, with an emphasis on encouraging greater engagement between businesses and institutions in the two countries.

The meetings are expected to contribute to deeper economic relations and create new avenues for collaboration between Kazakhstan and India, particularly in trade, investment and tourism.
