ALIGARH, Kulsum, a Class IX student of AMU Girls’ School, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been selected for the prestigious AFS Global STEM Innovators Programme, a highly competitive initiative that brings together promising young innovators from across India.
Held at FLAME University, Pune, the programme focused on STEM education, sustainability, innovation, leadership, and global citizenship. During the programme, Kulsum participated in interactive sessions and collaborated with students, mentors, and experts from different parts of the country, gaining valuable exposure to emerging ideas and global perspectives.

Congratulating Kulsum, the Principal of AMU Girls’ School, Mrs. Amna Malik, described her selection as a proud moment for both the institution and the city. Vice Principal Mrs. Alka Agarwal praised her dedication and perseverance, expressing confidence that her accomplishment would inspire many young learners, particularly girls. Mrs. Bushra Kirmani, English teacher and mentor, expressed immense pride in Kulsum’s achievement.
