A Russian delegation led by Viktoria Panova, Head of the BRICS Expert Council in Russia and Vice Rector of HSE University, attended the BRICS Civil Forum in New Delhi on August 18–19. The two-day event brought together representatives to exchange perspectives, address shared concerns, and develop proposals to strengthen cooperation across member countries.

During the forum, participants focused on opportunities to further expand cooperation among BRICS countries. Discussions included the exchange of experiences and the development of proposals aimed at strengthening and broadening cooperation between the member countries.The participation of the Russian delegation, led by Viktoria Panova, added to the discussions at the New Delhi forum. As Head of the BRICS Expert Council in Russia and Vice Rector of HSE University, Panova led the Russian delegation during the two-day event.

The BRICS Civil Forum also served as a space for dialogue among participants from BRICS countries, allowing them to discuss shared concerns and explore possibilities for closer cooperation. The exchange of experiences was an important part of the discussions, with participants contributing their views on issues of common interest.The forum concluded with participants working towards developing proposals for further expanding cooperation among BRICS countries.
The two-day event in New Delhi thus provided an opportunity for continued dialogue, experience-sharing and discussions on future cooperation within the BRICS framework.The Russian delegation’s participation highlighted Russia’s engagement in the BRICS Civil Forum and its discussions on common interests, experience-sharing and proposals for expanding cooperation among BRICS countries.
