Somali Ambassador Joins India–Arab League Meeting to Strengthen Historical Ties

New Delhi, The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to India, H.E. Dr. Abdullahi Maxammed Odowa, participated today in a meeting organized by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India with Ambassadors from Arab League member countries.

The conference, chaired by H.E. Dr. Neena Malhotra, Secretary of the South-South Department (South), focused on strengthening and promoting the longstanding historical and diplomatic ties between India and Arab nations.

During the discussions, participants emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in various fields, including trade, culture, and education, to further deepen India-Arab relations.

Ambassador Dr. Odowa’s participation underscored Somalia’s commitment to supporting regional collaboration and reinforcing its bilateral relationship with India within the broader framework of Arab-Indian engagement.
