Hyderabad Business Delegation to Visit Timor-Leste in September to Explore Investment Opportunities

New Delhi: Ambassador of Timor-Leste to India, H.E. Karlito Nunes, along with First Secretary Aurelio Barros, met Nawab Mir Najaf Ali Khan and representatives of a business delegation from Hyderabad in New Delhi to coordinate plans for an upcoming business visit to Timor-Leste in September 2026.

The proposed delegation will include representatives from around ten companies operating across various sectors. The visit aims to provide Indian businesses with an opportunity to explore Timor-Leste’s business environment, investment ecosystem, and potential areas for economic cooperation.

According to the discussions, the delegation will engage with local stakeholders, study investment opportunities, and gain first-hand insights into the country’s growing economy. The initiative is expected to strengthen commercial ties between India and Timor-Leste while encouraging partnerships in multiple industries.

The visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral economic cooperation and promote greater business engagement between the two countries.
