The applications for the 2027–28 Chevening Scholarships have officially opened, offering aspiring leaders from India an opportunity to pursue a fully funded master’s degree at any university in the United Kingdom.
For more than four decades, the Chevening Scholarship programme has supported outstanding individuals from India by providing access to world-class education in the UK while helping them develop leadership skills, professional networks, and global perspectives.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, travel costs, living expenses, and other essential allowances, enabling selected candidates to complete a one-year master’s programme at a UK university.
The programme is aimed at individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and are committed to creating positive change in their communities and professions. Successful applicants will also become part of the global Chevening alumni network, which includes leaders from government, business, academia, media, and civil society.
Applications for the 2027–28 Chevening Scholarships will remain open until 6 October 2026. Eligible candidates from India who aspire to study in the UK and contribute to positive change are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
