Chad’s Ambassador to India Strengthens Academic Ties at Bhubaneswar Meeting

Her Excellency Mrs. Ildjima Badda Mallot, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chad to the Republic of India, took part on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in a meeting organized by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) for African ambassadors in Bhubaneswar, Odisha State.

In her address, the Ambassador praised KIIT’s initiative of granting partial scholarships to Chadian students since 2022, while expressing the wish to see this partnership built on shared values of transparency, excellence, and commitment to a sustainable future strengthened and extended to KISS as well. She also called for Chadian students to be granted the same facilities, both in terms of costs and training opportunities, as those offered to local students.

On this occasion, the Ambassador met with Chadian students, offering them guidance, listening to their concerns, and assuring them that she would raise these matters with the university authorities for consideration.

Her Excellency was accompanied during this visit by Mr. Djimtola Kodjinan, First Secretary.
