University of Mumbai Prepares for New Indo-Russian Academic Chapter

With an official opening planned for this autumn, the lecture hall of the University of Mumbai’s “Innopraktika” development institution was fully furnished on July 23.

Elena Remizova, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo’s Representative Office in India, and Ivan Fetisov, Consul General of Russia in Mumbai, visited the location. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ravindra Kulkarni, was in attendance from India, and the Secretary of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Manish R. Joshi, participated virtually.

The state-of-the-art lecture hall is equipped for academic presentations, course recording, and online instruction. To further strengthen Indo-Russian academic cooperation, a new educational program centered on Russian language, history, and culture will soon be introduced from this platform.
