High-level discussions between India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval and Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu took place on August 7.
Both parties emphasized the value of working together to prepare for the forthcoming bilateral summit later this year and looked into ways to further solidify the unique and privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India.
The talks also included a discussion of important international security issues and cooperation in multilateral forums.
