White Coat Ceremony for Prospective Students of Grodno State Medical University Held in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, September 14, 2025 – A White Coat ceremony was held in Ahmedabad for 75 prospective students from Gujarat who will be joining Grodno State Medical University in Belarus. For the second consecutive year, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to India, H.E. M. Kasko, participated in the event.

During his interaction with the participants, the Ambassador responded to questions regarding living conditions and safety while studying in Belarus. He also spoke about the country’s cultural traditions and underlined the high quality of Belarusian higher education.

This point was highlighted by the fact that more than 300 Indian students are currently studying at Grodno State Medical University, and 94% of its graduates have successfully confirmed their qualifications in India by passing the medical licensing exam on their first attempt.

Addressing the aspiring doctors, Ambassador Kasko emphasized that the medical profession will always remain relevant and vital to society. He wished the students success and perseverance in achieving their academic and professional goals.
