The Egyptian embassy celebrates the crowning of Egypt’s team at the World Speedball Championship in New Delhi

The Egyptian Embassy in New Delhi attended the closing ceremony and crowning ceremony of the finals of the International Speedball Competition, hosted by the Republic of India and organized at Talkatora Stadium in the capital, New Delhi. The tournament was held with wide participation of women from the Arab Republic of Egypt and a number of other countries. Strong competitions resulted in Egypt’s team winning the first place and deserving the championship title.

Ambassador Kamel Jalal, accompanied by the Chairman and Board Members of the ICC Federation, handed over the Egyptian Champions and second and third place winners from other countries medals and commemorative shields, in recognition of their outstanding performance and supervised athletic achievement.

Ambassador Kamel Jalal made sure to receive the delegation of the International Union, the Egyptian Official Envoy and all the players at the Embassy headquarters where he congratulated them on this great achievement, praising the efforts made by the Union and the technical facility, and emphasizing that this victory represents a new example of Egypt’s leadership in this sport globally.

The Egyptian Embassy in New Delhi attended the closing ceremony and award presentation of the Finals of the International Speedball Competition, which was hosted by the Republic of India and organised at the Talkatora Stadium in the capital, New Delhi. The championship saw broad participation from national teams hailing from the Arab Republic of Egypt and several other countries. The fierce competition ultimately resulted in the Egyptian national team clinching the first place and earning the championship title.

Ambassador Kamel Galal, accompanied by the President and members of the Board of Directors of the International Speedball Federation, presented the Egyptian champions, as well as the second and third-place winners from the other participating nations, with medals and Recognition Awards, in recognition of their distinguished performance and commendable sporting achievements.

Furthermore, Ambassador Kamel Galal received the players at the Egyptian Embassy where he congratulated them on this magnificent achievement, commending the efforts made by the Federation and the technical staff. He emphasised that this victory serves as new evidence of Egypt’s global leadership in the sport of Speedball.
