New Delhi, Sunday — Ambassador Benedikt Höskuldsson and Mrs. Hjördis Magnúsdóttir inaugurated Shani’s Chariot, a solo exhibition by Icelandic artist Reinar Foreman, at Urban Fringe – The Underground Studio. Curated by Aakshat Sinha and Olga Lystsova, the exhibition is open to the public from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. until 30 November 2025.
Foreman’s latest body of work offers a contemporary reinterpretation of classical mythology, using bold, gestural forms to bridge ancient narratives with modern visual expression.
The Embassy of Iceland noted that the event reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening cultural dialogue between Iceland and India and supporting artistic collaborations that introduce diverse perspectives to local audiences.
