The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Afyan, held a meeting with Amit Kumar, the newly appointed Chief of Protocol at India’s Ministry of External Affairs, to discuss ongoing diplomatic coordination and preparations for forthcoming engagements between the two countries.
During the discussion, Ambassador Afyan and Chief of Protocol Kumar focused on matters related to upcoming multilateral-format events scheduled to take place in India. As the Chief of Protocol oversees the centralized mechanism responsible for managing all high-level incoming and outgoing visits, the meeting centered on ensuring smooth organization and effective cooperation for these future gatherings.
The two sides also reviewed the importance of regular visits by delegations from Armenia to India, noting that such exchanges contribute to maintaining momentum in bilateral relations. In addition, both officials emphasized the need to increase the frequency of visits from India, highlighting that strengthened two-way exchanges would further support the development of partnership and dialogue between the two nations.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of both sides to deepen engagement and maintain active coordination ahead of upcoming diplomatic events hosted in India.
