The situation in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen. After the deaths of seven Palestinian civilians on Monday, the Israeli army carried out further attacks on Tuesday. According to a report by (PIC), all these incidents are taking place even though a ceasefire has been in effect since October 10, which, as always, has been violated hundreds of times by the Israeli army.
According to the report, this morning an Israeli fighter jet carried out an airstrike on the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Local residents said that the Israeli army blew up several homes in the eastern part of Gaza City. Similarly, houses were also demolished in the Ash-Shuja’iyya neighborhood. The eastern areas of Khan Younis were shelled with artillery.
After midnight, a child was injured in an airstrike near the Hassan al-Banna Mosque in the Al-Mashru area. In addition, PIC also states that since the ceasefire came into effect, 347 Palestinians have been killed so far, while 871 people have been injured.
Due to the ongoing bombardment and the demolition of homes, life in Gaza is becoming increasingly difficult, while no signs of improvement in the situation are visible.
