H.E. Diana Mickevičienė, Ambassador of Lithuania to India, held a meeting with Additional Secretary & Director General Shri Ajay Bhadoo and senior officials from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The discussions centred on export control procedures for dual-use and defence-related items, including lasers, drones, and advanced technological components. Both sides explored practical mechanisms for end-use certification, research-related imports, and strengthened cooperation frameworks to support Lithuanian manufacturers working with Indian partners.
The Lithuanian side expressed appreciation for the constructive exchange and India’s openness to continued technical dialogue. The meeting reaffirmed Lithuania’s commitment to deepening collaboration with India in high technology, secure trade, and responsible innovation.
