Eight major Arab and Islamic countries have united and taken a firm stance against Israel’s alleged plan regarding the Rafah crossing, located on the Gaza border. Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have warned that any attempt to push Palestinians out of Gaza will not be tolerated.

The foreign ministers described this as a dangerous attempt to change Gaza’s demographic makeup and stated clearly and unequivocally that any encroachment on the rights of Palestinians or their land is unacceptable.

The ministers demanded that the Rafah crossing remain fully open in both directions, as stipulated in Trump’s peace plan. They said that any pressure or restrictions on the movement of Palestinians must be stopped immediately so that people can live safely and with dignity on their own land.

They also called for strengthening the ceasefire, ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid, and beginning the reconstruction of Gaza without delay. In addition, they described the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza as an essential step toward stability.

Meanwhile, Palestinian political and social groups have appealed to international mediators to ensure that the Rafah crossing is opened freely in both directions and that UNSC Resolution 2803 is strictly implemented, so that Gaza does not face any new blockade or pressure.
