Preparations underway for the deployment of an international stabilization force in Gaza; it may begin next month.

According to media reports, an International Stabilization Force (ISF) may be deployed in the Gaza Strip next month. Reuters, citing U.S. officials, reported that this force would be non-combat in nature and would not take part in any military action against Hamas.

According to the report, the role of this force would be to monitor the situation on the ground and help maintain stability in Gaza. Several countries have expressed interest in joining this international force. This initiative is part of the ongoing discussions regarding Gaza’s future security and governance.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council has passed a resolution approving the deployment of the ISF in Gaza. Thirteen countries voted in favor of the resolution, while Russia and China abstained from the vote. According to the resolution, the force will be deployed for two years, and its mandate may be extended if necessary.

This force has been authorized to protect civilians, safeguard humanitarian assistance, and train a new Palestinian police force. The report also states that Hamas has gained public support in Gaza following the ceasefire, as its return helped restore law and order and gave ordinary people a sense of security.
