Ambassador Paramita Tripathi held a meeting with senior officials of the State Bank of India (SBI) to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in banking and financial services between India and Kuwait.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Varinder Khanna, Chief General Manager (CGM–MEWANA), and Mr. Nilay Ranjan Singh from SBI Dubai. Discussions focused on enhancing financial connectivity, expanding banking services, and supporting growing trade and investment ties between the two countries.
Both sides explored opportunities to facilitate smoother financial transactions, improve services for the Indian diaspora, and promote stronger institutional collaboration. The interaction underscored the shared commitment of India and Kuwait to deepen economic engagement through robust banking and financial sector partnerships.
