According to a report published by the Palestine Information Center, the number of martyrs in the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,937. The war has been continuing since October 7, 2023.
In a statement issued on Monday morning, Gaza’s Ministry of Health said that so far 171,192 Palestinians have been injured in the war. In addition, according to the ministry’s daily report, the bodies of 12 civilians were brought to Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours, while seven injured people were admitted for treatment.
The report also said that despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025, the violence has not completely stopped. Since the ceasefire was implemented, at least 405 Palestinians have been martyred, while 1,115 people have been injured.
According to figures from the Ministry of Health, the continued attacks have placed enormous pressure on Gaza’s healthcare system, and the number of casualties continues to rise.
